The design of Poplar Plains was done in collaboration with the client, a well-known interior designer that showcased his high-level taste. By working with his firm, a successful renovation of a beautiful historic mansion was completed. A roof terrace on the 4th floor provides a panoramic view of the city with nearly 100% exterior glazing.

An integral coach house was later constructed above a new garage. Its black colouring provides contrast to the white-ness of the main house.
