The copper cladding of this modern coach house echoes the copper accents on the main house. Over time, the paneling has naturally weathered from a bright, shiny copper finish into a more subdued, mature tone.

Coach House

The Coach House of the Admiral Road project recalls the history of the neighbourhood. The Annex was named in the 1880s, shortly after the area joined the City of Toronto as part of the annexation of the Village of Yorkville. Many of the original houses of the Annex had coach houses and stables accessed via laneways cutting between their backyards.
